The name of my home town is Cumilla.The word 'Cumilla' is derived from the Bengali word Kamolangko which means the fond of lotus. It is a district under the Chattogram division of Bangladesh located about 100 kilometres south east of Dhaka. There are some interesting places such as, Shalban Bihar, Mainamati museum, Mainamati war cemetery, Lalmai pahar, Jagannath Temple and Dharmasagar etc. It is also a district of some famous people. Among them, Shaheed Dhirendranath Dattaa,Nawab Faizunnesa, Sachin Dev Burman and other persons. My home town is not too big but it’s a beautiful city with almost every type of facility. I love my city very much.
