Main idea : Sufferings lead us to the path of happiness. Pain and pleasure are the inevitable part of life.

Amplification : Human life is not a bed of roses. It is full of joys and sorrows. In fact, joy and sorrow come in turns. We have to pass through alternating phases of joys and sorrows. Nothing is eternal here. It is the go of the day. Happiness is short-lived and transitory. A man falling in distress gets disappointed. He becomes hopeless and frustrated. He loses his energy to live. But he should bear in mind that after the removal of darkness, the sky becomes clear and transparent. Darkness can't make the sky invisible for long. We should remember that sorrow will be removed and we shall sip in happiness. Thus, we should not lose hope. Rather, we have to become optimistic and patient. We have to face all of our sorrows with forbearance and fortitude. We have to accept everything in an undivided mentality. We have to become sincere in our mission of life. Then, we shall be endowed with happiness and pleasures. In that case, sorrows and unhappiness will not deaden us; rather we shall be fortified enough to face the reality of life.

বঙ্গানুবাদ

মূলভাব : দুঃখকষ্ট আমাদেরকে সুখের পথে চালিত করে। ব্যথা ও আনন্দ জীবনের অপরিহার্য অংশ।

ভাবসম্প্রসারণ : মানবজীবন পুষ্পশয্যা নয়। এটি আনন্দ ও দুঃখে পূর্ণ। বস্তুত আনন্দ ও দুঃখ পর্যায়ক্রমে আসে। আমাদের আনন্দ ও দুঃখের পরিবর্তনকারী পর্যায়ের মধ্য দিয়ে অতিক্রম করতে হবে। এখানে কোনো কিছুই চিরন্তন নয়। এটিই কালের ধারা। সুখ ক্ষণস্থায়ী ও অনিত্য। একজন মানুষ দুর্দশায় পতিত হয়ে হতাশাগ্রস্থ হয়ে পড়ে। সে নিরাশ ও পরাভূত হয়ে পড়ে। সে বেঁচে থাকার শক্তি হারিয়ে ফেলে। কিন্তু তার মনে রাখা উচিত যে অন্ধকার দূরীভূত হওয়ার পর, আকাশ পরিষ্কার ও স্বচ্ছ হয়। অন্ধকার আকাশকে দীর্ঘসময় অদৃশ্য রাখতে পারে না। আমাদের স্মরণ রাখা উচিত যে দুঃখ দূর হবে এবং আমরা সুখের সুধা একটু একটু করে পান করবো। সুতরাং আমাদের আশা হারানো উচিত নয় বরং আমাদের আশাবাদী ও ধৈর্যশীল হতে হবে। আমাদের সকল দুঃখ সহিংসতা ও ধৈর্যের সাথে মোকাবিলা করতে হবে। আমাদের সবকিছু অবিচ্ছিন্ন মানসিকতায় গ্রহণ করতে হবে আমাদের জীবনের বিশেষ কার্যে আন্তরিক হতে হবে। অতঃপর আমরা সুখ ও আনন্দে বিভূষিত হবো। তেমন অবস্থায়, দুঃখ ও অসুখী আমাদেরকে নিস্তেজ করবে না বরং জীবনের বাস্তবতাকে মোকাবিলা করতে আমরা যথেষ্ট সুরক্ষিত হবো।
