Imagine, you have decided to celebrate the birthday ceremony of Rabindranath Tagore. In this connection, you want to hold a cultural function and stage a drama in your college auditorium. Some students have been selected to take part in the function. A few local artists have also been contacted to take part. A fund has also been raised for this purpose. You need the permission of the principal to hold the function and use the college auditorium.

With respect and humble submission, we the students of B.A. classes of your college beg to state that we wish to celebrate the birthday ceremony of one of the greatest poets and dramatists of Bengali literature, Rabindranath Tagore. For this, we have decided to arrange a cultural function in our college. Some students of our college are selected for dancing and singing. We have an idea to stage a famous drama of Rabindranath Tagore named ‘Chitrangoda”. For this purpose, we have already communicated with some popular artists. They have assured us to participate with us. A fund has also been arranged to hold the function properly. But all this will be quite impossible without your permission.
