My dear Kamilia,

I have received your letter just now. I am highly glad at your eagerness to know how we enjoyed our Annual Sports Day of our school. You’ll be glad to know that I became champion.

The ceremony was held on the 15th instant in a befitting manner in a large pandal on the school campus. It was presided over by the Director of Secondary and Higher Education, Bangladesh. The honourable Education Minister was the chief guest at the function. It was largely attended by the guardians and elite of the locality. The function began just at 10 am with a recitation from the Holy Quran. Our headmaster first read out annual report based on the gradual progress of the school. The chief guest delivered his speech. After all these the events of games started. I won the first prize in three events and became champion. The chief guest then gave away prizes and delivered a short speech. He advised the students to train themselves up in discipline and build their character to become good citizens of the country. We enjoyed the day very much.
