A Devastating Fire Accident in a Garment Factory

Sufia is a worker in a big garment factory. More than five thousand workers work in that factory. One day while she was busy in work, a sound was heard, “Fire! Fire! Help! Help!” Sufia was terrified. Without any delay, she rushed to the spot from where the sound was coming. She saw that their garment factory had caught fire. Instantly she phoned their manager. The manager who was very wise and judicious, immediately rushed to the factory and opened the gate. Meanwhile, all the garment workers rushed to the gate to save their own lives. The panic-stricken workers endeavoured their best to get out of the building. They trampled one amount and consequently some died and many got seriously wounded. Fortunately, Sufia could get out of the building safely. In the meantime, fire workers reached the spot. They rescued the garment workers and got themselves engaged in putting out the fire. After fighting for three hours against the fire, they eventually became successful in extinguishing the fire. Five workers died on the spot and about two hundred were severely wounded. The wounded were taken to different hospitals and clinics for necessary medical treatment.
