Sir,
With respect and humble submission, we, the students of BA class of your college, beg to state that we wish to celebrate the hundredth birthday ceremony of one of the greatest poets and dramatists of Bengali literature and our national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. For this, we have decided to arrange a cultural function in our college. We have an intention to stage a famous drama of Kazi Nazrul Islam. For this purpose, we have already communicated with some popular artists. They have assured us to participate with us. A fund has also been arranged to hold the function properly. But all this will be quite impossible without your permission.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to give permission to hold the function in our college auditorium.
